Two packages was missing in Linode Ubuntu distribution.

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common python-software-properties

It was causing issues when Webinoly try to install PHP.

Please, install these packages before Webinoly.

It will be fixed in the next Webinoly release (next week).

Thanks a lot for your help to find, debug and fix this issue.

Regards.

Hi,

Can you provide more details?

What error are you getting when installation failed?

Are you using Ubuntu 16.04?

The Install MariaDB-10.1 window appears

 Install MariaDB root password
https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/adfeco/2017/11/28/linode-2.png

After the installation is complete, there is no mySQL password.

Seems like something is missing during the installation process, Webinoly is configured to not ask for a password during MariaDB installation.

Can you run this two commands:

sudo webinoly -info
sudo webinoly -verify

Copy and paste the output, please.

Webinoly only support Ubuntu and seems like you are running Debian in your server.

I then rebuild the OS test,
Is it linode OS problems?

I'm not really sure, but seems like some package is missing in your Ubuntu server causing issues in Webinoly installation.
Did you have PHP installed before Webinoly?
I see you have PHP 7.0 installed and Webinoly fails when trying to install v7.1.

I am us a clean VPS installation.

ssh root password can be provided to you test.
Is that good to you?
