I saw in the docs that you can setup sub-folder wordpress sites/installations.

Can you do the same for just PHP/MySQL sites? Or more precise, can you create a php/mysql "sub-directory site" inside a wp site?

Webinoly does not have a native function for that, but you can do it manually. Just put a location block with PHP support in your Nginx site configuration file. Try it!
