Hello,

I want to change the location of the media folder from /wp-content/uploads to something else. I understand that I need to edit the wp-config.php file in order to change this.

Will doing this break anything in webinoly?

Will the wp-config.php file get overwritten if I update webinoly or change settings that would require changes to the wp-config.php file (changing database password for example)?

If it's ok to change, what command can I use in Ubuntu command line to create the new folder with the right permissions?

Unlike other files, wp-config.php file does not come built-in with WordPress rather it’s generated specifically for your site during the installation process and it won't get overwritten on subsequent Webinoly updates.
