Hello,

Two security issues were identified in nginx HTTP/2 implementation,

which might cause excessive memory consumption (CVE-2018-16843)

and CPU usage (CVE-2018-16844).

Detailed description: http://mailman.nginx.org/pipermail/nginx-announce/2018/000220.html

Will the next update plan upgrade nginx to 1.14.1?

Thank you

It doesn't work that way.

Nginx v1.14.1 is already available, you just have to update & upgrade your system.

If your server/sites contains very sensible data and you are worried about these news you should get in touch with the Nginx Team responsible for the Ubuntu Nginx PPA. That's the package Webinoly is using and is also the officially recommended by the Nginx Team.

Yes, the system has been updated (sudo apt-get update) today.

Already updated to Nginx 1.14.1

Thank you.
