Hello ... Today I have a error while one of my plugin try to CREATE VIEW on the database :
Webinoly create a user with SELECT,ALTER,UPDATE,INSERT,CREATE,DELETE,DROP,INDEX,REFERENCES rights instead of ALL PRIVILEGES and that's may cause the problems
Could you please help !
The thing is that now some Cloud Providers does not support "GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES" and "GRANT OPTION", so we recently changed our script to create users with limited privileges as you noted (GRANT SELECT,ALTER,UPDATE,INSERT,CREATE,DELETE,DROP,INDEX,REFERENCES). Also, newer MySQL/MariaDB versions have some changes on this matter.
Definitely, this is something we can improve, you can always change/update your user privileges manually according to your needs.
Thanks for your instant reply,
I changed the permission (GRANT CREATE VIEW or GRANT ALL) and it works.
However it's always better to tell you the compatibility issues I use Lightsail !
Now we have multiple options to set the default privileges when a DB is created, check the "dbrole" option: https://webinoly.com/documentacion/webinoly/#confile
