When I test my WordPress blogs (HTTPS enabled) on pagespeed insight (mobile), it always shows "Reduce initial server response time". Desktop no issue.
Therefore I decided to perform a fresh test on the new server. Then I have build a fresh server on Upcloud.com (USD10 plan) and install only Webionly. Then I did not modify anything on this VPS. This server has 2GB RAM, 1CPU, and 50GB SSD (MaxIOPS Storage).
On this site, there is only a single site with only default Redis object cache plugin with the default theme. There is no traffic. This site enabled FastCGI cache.
Then I enabled HTTPS and tested the site on pagespeed insight. It again shows "Reduce initial server response time" for mobile.
Then I disabled HTTPS and tested at that time "Reduce initial server response time" message disappeared for mobile devices.
I want to know that if I enabled HTTPS should I modify anything to improve the server response time for mobile devices?
In both situations, the site enabled FastCGI cache and Redis object cache.
I believe this is a good performance VPS. But why after enabled HTTPS it shows that error for 1st view and repeated views.
