closed Root path domain is not a valid domain or is not found/hosted in this server!

I am trying to add SSL for a parked domain.

I created the site: example.com

Parked domain = example.witweb.nl

sudo site example.witweb.nl -ssl=on -root=example.com

Gives the error:

Root path domain is not a valid domain or is not found/hosted in this server!

Havent done much customization. Any idea why this error occurs?
